Life.

This past weekend, I've been thinking a lot about life in general. Not like life and death and why are we here kind of stuff, but all the things that come with life. Of course there is happiness and joy and love and all that fun stuff, but a lot of not so nice things happen to. And that's what I have been thinking about most recently. A lot of my close friends are having some tough times right now, whether it be heart break of the love kind, or the friendship kind, or the small thing like finding the right homecoming dress, or even just trying to feel good about yourself in general. I know that these things do come with life and they may be hard to deal with. I also know that it gets better. You just have to have a good cry, rant to the ones close you, and then stand up to life and say, "You know what? i don't want to be sad or mad or heart broken anymore. I'm going to change this." And that may take a long time, or it may take few days, but eventually, we all get there, and happiness usually follows. The journey getting their isn't nearly as fun though, so I want to share somethings that help me to get through those hardships.
Sit there in your sadness for a day. I recommend a weekend. But just sit there in your sweatpants and an old sweatshirt with your hair up and be sad and grumpy and pissed off at the world. Listen to music, and don't make it the peppy happy stuff. Really feel everything. Here are a few songs I like-
Yiruma - Love hurts
Angels and Airwaves - The Moon Atomic
Yiruma - River Flows in You
Blue October - Congratulations
Dog Days are Over - Florence and the Machine ( I like the glee version better)
Snow Patrol - Pretty much any of theirs songs.
Owl City - Fuzzy Blue Lights
Lostprophets - Last Train Home

Also, a really lovely website is rainymood.com

I just want to say to all my friends going through these kinds on things right now, I love you. And I promise you, it does get better.

I hate thinking of titles for the blog. I mean really...
Ahhhh Brooklyn just came on my playlist on youtube and I thought that was funny. ANYWAY!

I'm not even going to go into the whole "Oh I haven't posted blah.. blah.." Oh wait. I just did. :)
Life's been pretty great lately! We had another football game last night. I was not our best, but we finally got Brooklyn on the field, which was fun! If you wan to hear it, here is a link. Brooklyn!
I went homecoming dress shopping today!! And everyone is usually like, ahh it took forever, I spent so much money, blah blah. Well, I tried on the first dress I saw and liked. And it fit perfectly!! And it had POCKETS!!! I don't think many of you understand just how important pockets are. I never realized that until Swirl last year, when I actually wore a dress, and didn't have any.

School is finally returning to that monotonous state of not sleeping enough, forgetting to eat breakfast, forgetting to do your chemistry homework and scrambling to do it at some point before first block, and all that fun stuff. Yep, that's pretty much it.

I really don't have much to post about today... just trying to get something out there.
